SBG participated in our Q & A. We’re excited to share it with you.

PSWMSDC: Tell us about your company. How long have you been certified with PSWMSDC?

SBG: Scott Business Group is a multidimensional Talent Acquisition Solution headquartered in the Greater Phoenix Area.  We have been PSWMSDC Certified since our foundation in 2003.

PSWMSDC: What Corporations/Corporate Members are your clients? How has certification helped you get your foot in the door?

SBG: We have a diverse portfolio of clients. PSWMSDC has been instrumental in opening the door for us to gain accessibility to corporations. Additionally, through PSWMSDC signature events and other networking opportunities, we get updated on the community and industry.

PSWMSDC: Tell us about winning MBE Supplier of the Year and what it means to you as a minority business owner. Have you been recognized more or gained any new contracts since winning your award?

SBG: Being awarded MBE Supplier of the Year is especially significant because it is recognition from our peers. The award showcases our commitment to excellence and quality service, and we are proud to note it in our marketing materials as well as our accomplishments when we pursue business.

PSWMSDC: If you could give one piece of advice to newly certified MBEs, what would it be?

SBG: My advice to newly certified MBEs is to be involved.  The PSWMSDC is only as strong as its constituents’ commitment to supporting the organization.

PSWMSDC: It can’t be all work and no play. Do you have a favorite hobby or sport? What do you do in the downtime from running your business?

SBG:  I enjoy time with family and friends, philanthropy work, Zumba, music, and dance.
