Support Committees
The Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) has formed other committees to help support the Pacific Southwest Council’s mission. The current support committees include:
  • Membership Committee – The Membership Committee identifies and recruits potential corporate members as well as capable, qualified minority businesses that can be certified by the Council to meet our corporate members’ sourcing needs.
  • Events Committee – The Events Committee focus is to identify and secure a corporation’s venue to host the monthly MBEIC meeting. Part of the corporation’s responsibility is to supply sourcing personnel to present the organization’s sourcing process.
  • Certification Committee – The Certification Committee is composed of corporate members that evaluate minority business applications for potential certification with the Council. This committee is key to ensuring that applicants meet the strict certification guidelines that a business must be at least 51% ethnic minority owned, operated and controlled.
  • IT Business and Technology – This committee will outreach to new MBE membership in manufacturing and technology, opportunities in training, education and networking.
  • Outreach – Committee is responsible for meeting with other organization and promoting the Council’s events and also provide calendar of other events and partnership within the MBE organizations community wide.
We invite all interested parties to contact one of the individuals below to volunteer and/or for additional details. We look forward to your participation on these exciting committees that support our mission to advance minority businesses!
